UNBLEMISH Regimen

You can use this skincare Regimen for as long as needed, but just because your skin is clear doesn't mean it's time to stop. Continuous use of the Regimen will help keep your skin clear. Once your skin has been acne-free for an extended period of time, you may consider shifting to once-a-day use of the Unblemish Regimen and start introducing our Redefine Regimen or Reverse Regimen into your daily routine.

We recommend that you use mild cleansers, moisturisers and sunscreens as you ramp up to using the Unblemish Regimen twice a day. Avoid other products containing acne ingredients such as Benzoyl Peroxide and Salicylic Acid, Retinoids, Alpha-Hydroxy Acids, such as Glycolic Acid, or any scrubs and mechanical brushes, as they can result in irritation. The Soothe Regimen is a good option for your skincare routine.

If you have oily skin, the Unblemish Regimen includes Invisible Matte Defense to reduce shine, absorbs excess oil and dries to a light-weight matte finish. The Invisible Matte Defense Broad Spectrum SPF 15 is formulated especially for oily-prone skin but is not drying to other skin types. 

Your skin may need hydration! Benzoyl Peroxide could cause the skin to feel dry or dehydrated. Sometimes this may signal an increase in oil production. To help even dry and oily areas we suggest applying Enhancements Active Hydration Serum on clean dry skin at night then layering Acne Clearing Treatment. This oil-free light-weight hydrating formula balances out dry and oily areas.

You can also apply Radiant Defense Perfecting Liquid Broad Spectrum SPF 30. This product is non-comedogenic, non-acnegenic, and oil-free providing three forms of defense: environmental, barrier and photo (against UVA and UVB rays).

After using Unblemish Regimen for four weeks, you can patch test Redefine Intensive Renewing Serum in the evening after Unblemish Dual Intensive Treatment (Step 3). Begin using Intensive Renewing Serum three nights a week and increase to every night as tolerated. And, of course, a broad spectrum sunscreen is the most important weapon in your anti-ageing arsenal.

Cystic acne is typically considered severe acne, and unfortunately cosmetic products tend not to be potent enough to effectively manage it. While some have seen some success with Unblemish Regimen, we recommend that you see a dermatologist to determine if Unblemish and/or other acne products be suitable for you.
